Nclex Stopped At 85 Questions 2025. The passing standard is 50%. The next gen nclex (rn & pn) can shut down anywhere between 85 and 150 questions.
Out of 85 questions, it is my understanding that 15 are testers that don’t count, which leaves. Failing the nclex means you will not be issued a nursing license.
